Dr. Neelofar Ara, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Higher Education (J&K), holds an M.A. in Kashmiri, NET (2002), and B.Ed (2016) qualifications. With over 14 years of teaching experience in school education and further academic engagement at the higher education level, she has made significant contributions to Kashmiri language, literature, and culture. She has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops, presenting over 20 research papers on diverse topics such as Kashmiri folklore, Sufism, Persian influence, and cultural heritage. Dr. Ara has also contributed to teacher training programs, curriculum development, and e-content creation. Her research work is further reflected through publications, including a book "Meain Mazmoon" and several book chapters, notably on the literary contributions of Sheikh-ul-Aalam. She is committed to promoting Kashmiri literature and preserving its rich cultural traditions through active research, teaching, and community involvement
