To commemorate National Science Day in the backdrop of Viksit Bharat campaign, a special talk was organized by the Department of Chemistry Government Degree College Pulwama (Host Institution) in the Innovation Cell of the college on 28th February 2024.

Awareness programs on "Viksit Bharat @ 2047" were organized jointly by the Departments of Biotechnology and Botany on 15th & 18th December 2023 in the college Incubation Centre. The programs aimed to aware students about the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, focusing on economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance.

Department of Biotechnology, GDC Pulwama organized an awareness ‘Workshop on virtual labs’ for the students of major/minor students of Sem I (Batch-2022), Sem III (Batch-2023), and for Sem VI (Batch-2021) having Biotechnology as one of the subjects on 18 Dec 2023.

Digital J&K Week 2023 was held from August-31 to September-6th 2023 in J&K. The event celebrated J&K UTs digital transformation and showcased the UTs technological achievements.
